Aftermath
7 months after my 1st clean scan I had another in August and I'm relieved the cancer doesn't seem to b coming back. The doctors were right about that part. Unfortunately they Nebr informed me about the possibility of neuropathy. It came as a side effect of the chemo drug Cisplatin. I have pins and needle numbness combined w pain in my hands and my feet that has kept me from going back to work. I'm fighting an appeal w SS while I'm out because there's no telling how long it will take for my nerves to regenerate. For now I'm relying very little from temporary assistance. Christmas will b tough on the girls but I did sign them up at the salvation army. I'm on a lot of meds tryin to move forward and tryin to stay patient cause that's all I can do for now. Merry Christmas to all and Happy New Year I hope mine works out better than the last PEACE

I am so happy your cancer is in remission and staying there. I hope the neuropathy clears up soon. I pray for you nightly. I love you Nicholas.
ReplyDeleteHey Nick ,
ReplyDeleteI am sorry about the side effects. So glad to hear that the Cancer is in remission. The Govt always turns down initial Social Security requests . Its disgusting but keep fighting with them. You worked and you deserve assistance from your Government. God Bless you!
